Summer to winter.
Beginner to pro.
Tabor Mountain offers a rare topographical jackpot, providing the perfect canvas for a world-class trail network. Its diverse terrain—ranging from gentle, sweeping benches to rugged, high-gradient slopes—allows for a seamless blend of trail styles in a single destination. This unique landscape ensures that every visitor finds their flow: wide, accessible paths offer independence for adaptive riders, rolling forest loops provide a sanctuary for casual explorers, and sheer vertical relief creates the ideal playground for elite adrenaline-seekers craving technical gravity lines. On Tabor, the terrain doesn't just accommodate different skill levels; it celebrates them.
ACT is community driven.
Volunteer
society.
ACT is a Society registered in British Columbia with a growing membership who help guide and contribute to trail development efforts.
In doing so, we keep costs low and the stoke high. As a bonus, volunteers get to enjoy the pride of riding what they dig.
Inclusive from
the start.
We leave nobody behind. All ACT trails and infrastructure are designed to accommodate each user's specific needs. From accessibility to progression, we're thinking of you.

Destination focused.
Prince George is our home and we want to share it with the rest of the world. Our trail development is meant to put Tabor Mountain on the map and grow our region's reputation for recreation opportunity.
Authorized and insured.
ACT is authorized by Recreation Sites and Trails BC to build and maintain trails and infrastructure on Tabor Mountain. We also ensure peace-of-mind by providing our membership with insurance coverage while they're digging.

Get out there.
Tabor Mountain is a scenic 18-minute drive from downtown Prince George. To get there, head east (towards McBride) along BC-HWY 16. Follow the signs to turn right on Giscome Rd, then left on Groveburn Rd. The trails start from our main parking area which features an accessible toilet, picnic tables, bike repair station, sandbox, dirt jumps, and more.
Further up the mountain you'll find more staging areas and accessible bathrooms that are perfect for staging your shuttle missions.
While shuttling is encouraged, we ask you to follow some guidelines:
-
Reduce traffic by carpooling.
-
Go slow. Dead slow when you're passing other vehicles and riders.
-
Use 4x4 to reduce damage to roads.
-
Dangerous behavior, excessive noise, speeding, or driving while under the influence are all illegal and super not-cool. ACT will report all violators to the responsible authorities.
